Director

Russell is a founding Director of SRD Technical. He has spent over 15 years in the Global Energy Sector delivering talent to numerous multi billion Projects. Russell has made answering the call of the climate emergency his career mission and is using his extensive Project & Consultancy Management experience to assist organisations to tackle the Energy Transition.

Duncan Wigney

Director & Qualified ESOS Lead Assessor

Duncan was an Executive Board Member with P&L responsibility for a global Energy Engineering, Procurement and Construction business, with annual revenues of approximately $6bn prior to joining SRD Technical. His portfolio included EPC delivery of $multibillion projects. He has worked extensively in Europe, Middle East, Far East, Russia, Australia and the US. With over 30 years’ experience in the energy industry in major projects he is using his skills and experience to assist organisations in tackling the Energy Transition.

Duncan is a qualified ESOS Lead Assessor, bringing expert knowledge and a thorough understanding of energy audits to help businesses achieve compliance and reduce their energy consumption.

Mei-Ling Butland-Cheung

Energy Consultant

Mei-Ling joined the team in 2021 as an energy and carbon consultant who supports UK businesses in reducing emissions, improving energy efficiency, and meeting regulatory compliance. She specialises in delivering:

  • Streamlined SECR reporting

  • Detailed ESOS Phase 3 audits

  • Compliant Carbon Reduction Plans

  • Baseline emissions reporting across Scope 1, 2, and 3
